Other Master and PhD students from non IPICS partner Institutions

If you are not enrolled with an IPICS University (for the full list click <Speakers-- IPICS Partner Institutions>) but interested to participate you have to apply with the local coordinator of IPICS 2017 via email, in which you include name, surname, address, contact information, institution affiliation. The selection process is non-formal.

There is a participation fee required from all students and IT professionals. Included in this fee are all lectures, lecture materials, lunches, and the gala dinner.

IPICS ECTS acknowledgement

The IPICS course ends with a group presentation and requires students to hand in an essay. Topics will be assigned at the end of IPICS. Both, presentation and essay will be used to grade students. The IPICS offers upon completion a certificate stating course content, lecturers, duration, and final grade. This certificate will be honoured with 4 ECTS points by the IPICS partner Universities. External students will receive the same certificate. Please ensure with your home institution whether and how this certificate is accepted for acknowledging the 4 ECTS points.

Certificates will only be awarded if the course is finished completely, meaning fully attended and with passed home exam (essay).

IT and Information Security Professionals

High-level IT professionals interested in information security or information security specialists are highly welcomed at IPICS. Professionals can apply with the local coordinator of IPICS 2017 via email in which you include name, surname, address, contact information, education titles, profession and employer organization and a curriculum vitae. The selection process is non-formal.
